On the Way!

Astronaut Mike Foale, Cosmonaut Alexander Kareli, and ESA Astronaut Pedro Duques from Spain have blasted off in a Russian Soyuz spacecraft for the International Space Station. Foale and Kareli will replace the current ISS crew, Cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko and Astronaut Ed Lu. Duques will remain on the station for ten days performing experiments, then return with Malenchenko and Lu. This will be the sixth flight for Mike Foale, the fourth for Kareli, who has 416 days in space aboard Mir to his credit, and the second flight for Duques.
