Search for the Truth

The family of Pat Tillman, the Arizona Cardinals football player who volunteered for the Army after 9/11, continues to search for the truth about his death in Afghanistan. Originally claimed as a heroic death under enemy fire, it turns out Tillman died of friendly fire. It's also interesting to learn that Pat Tillman, the right winger hero, was a well-read independent thinker who was not a fan of the current administration. The article covers the entire long and sordid story of the coverup surrounding Tillman's death in detail and is well worth your time. A little sample:

“I can see it like a movie screen,” Baer said. “We were outside of (a city in southern Iraq) watching as bombs were dropping on the town. We were at an old air base, me, Kevin and Pat, we weren’t in the fight right then. We were talking. And Pat said, ‘You know, this war is so f— illegal.’ And we all said, ‘Yeah.’ That’s who he was. He totally was against Bush.”

He gave his life for his country. His family deserves the entire truth.
